3D printer AfrikaBot

University of Johannesburg lecturer Deon Sabatta has made us a 3D printer chassis for the AfrikaBot.

This is where you can download his STL files to print your own AfrikaBot chassis.

You can also modify his design into something uniquely your own... if you know how...

STEP ONE

Download the STL file for the AfrikaBot chassis.

STEP TWO

To be able to view the STL files there is free software called NetFabb basic.

There are also numerous free packages that you can use to "slice" (turn STL into 3D printer code) the model. A good example is Cura. If you have Windows 10, it comes with free software called 3D Builder which can also be used to view STL files.

STEP THREE

Send the files to your 3D printer and voila!
